Who We Are
The National Organization for Diversity in Sales and Marketing, Inc ™ was founded
in 2003 to foster effective diverse sales and marketing strategies within
corporate America, as well as within the small business community. We are a
membership-based professional organization created to be an invaluable
resource for small businesses and major corporations who want to increase
their market share in multicultural markets as well as diversify their
sales, marketing and advertising personnel and develop a culturally
competent team of sales, marketing and advertising professionals and
leverage diversity to increase their bottom line.
Our Motivation
The case for diversity has been made evident throughout human resources
departments across the country. Although board rooms and executive suites
are becoming more diverse in their look, in most cases, marketing campaigns
have been based on assumptions and stereotypes. Our organization's mission
is to dispel these practices and provide marketers with solid facts on how
to effectively reach these markets without being offensive. We wanted to
create a forum where companies could get accurate information on
multicultural marketing and provide a resource where companies could learn
from other companies that were already marketing multiculturally and
consistently getting it right. In addition, a resource for our members to
source qualified multicultural talent.
Our Commitment
Our commitment is to help our members capitalize on the increasing
purchasing power of the "new majority" by providing a complete one-stop-shop
for accurate multicultural marketing information, informative webinars and
live events across the country, multicultural marketing research, networking
opportunities, multicultural recruiting and multicultural marketing and
sales training.
Our Vision
Our Vision is to be a total resource for organizations wanting solid
information on marketing to multicultural consumers, diversifying their
sales force and marketing teams and developing culturally competent sales
people to successfully deliver the messages from multicultural ad campaigns.
We will evolve with the needs of our members and continue to provide them
superior value for their membership, with the information and resources that
we make available to them.

Welcome to The National Organization for Diversity in Sales and Marketing!
I founded this organization in 2003 as a member-based professional organization to help corporations leverage diversity to positively impact their bottom line and capitalize on the increasing purchasing power of diverse consumers. We are also focused on helping corporations diversify their sales and marketing talent in an effort to be more reflective of their consumer base and the changing face of our global marketplace.
Our focus is to continue to grow as an organization, evolve with the needs of our members and continue to provide superior value for membership, with the information and resources that we make available.
